British Council is pleased to participate in Canada's first Indigenous Innovation Summit held in Winnipeg, MB from November 18 - 20, 2015. This national-level event will bring together thinkers and doers for two days of interaction, networking and partnership building, working toward unlocking new ideas and approaches to some persistent challenges in our communities.

Saada El-Akhrass, Arts Manager at British Council Canada and Andrea James, Aboriginal Playwright, Producer and Theatre Maker based in Sydney, Australia, and ACCELERATE Alumni of 2013 will be part of the conference on Reconciliation and Innovative Partnerships in the Arts. They will discuss how innovative art partnerships are advancing the reconciliation agenda on the local, national, and international stage.
