ACTIVE CITIZENS IN CANADA
Active Citizens is a social leadership training programme that provides the opportunity to young Canadians, between the ages of 18-35, to learn about and experiment with social innovation through intercultural dialogue and community-led social development.
The Active Citizens programme has trained over 300 young leaders across Canada in the last two years (2016-2017). All participants have been trained on the Active Citizens tool-kit. Armed with the Active Citizens framework the young people are now ready to implement their SDGs intervention back in their communities.
Applications for the 2nd Edition of the Active Citizens programme are now closed. Stay tuned for Active Citizens 3rd Edition, COMING SOON 2018!
