Role overview
Plan, design and ensure best delivery of the Canada Arts, Education and Society programme of a scale, quality and innovativeness appropriate to the maturity and opportunity of the UK/Canada bilateral relationship.
Achieve challenging financial targets by securing partnership agreements with corporates, foundations and trusts as the primary resource for the British Council Canada programme, such that 50% of costs (including staffing for project delivery) are partner-funded by Financial Year 2015/16 and 70% by 2016/17.
Manage the British Council Canada arts programme by devising and implementing arts projects which meet the British Council’s strategic objectives and which attract cultural and financial partnership.
Manage a network of external and internal partners to meet programme aims and targets, particularly in the Arts.
